I would rate today a 10 out of 10! It's b-e-a-utiful out! I'm told that it's 18 degrees outside (and 28 in here), the sun is shining and the wind is blowing and it's almost enough to make me want to go back out on that crashboat. Almost. We've got five boats out racing today, and another couple just enjoying the weather. No matter if it's competitively or not, today is the perfect day to be out on the water, or down at the beach for a wedding! Congrats to the happy couple...whoever they are!

Well, with the Lasers gone today is a day for the Ospreys! We've got a staggering five boats out today despite the gorgeous weather and decent wind. I'm joined in the tower today by two little helpers here to cheer on Sandra and Al Oliver, the defending champions! Good luck to all the sailors out there and shame on you to the ones who aren't.

Wow, it's been a while since I've been here due to bad tides and birthdays, but imagine my surprise when I learn we have a new boat! Warren Hill and Tom Seidelmann are sailing a CL16 today for the first time. Maybe this new variable will give them the edge to win the trophy today. We've got five boats out and the weather is holding steady, so it's a great day to be out on the water, but I'm still glad that I'm actually in the tower this time around. Good luck everyone!

And now for something completely different: I'm going out on the crashboat! Eek! Double tasking today and hoping I don't drown. We have half a dozen boats out today, and it's going to be a close race between Colin and Darren. Wind is blowing and the sun is glowing, looks like I picked a good day to go out on the water! Wish the sailors, and me, luck!

Golly gee wiz Batman! We have seven boats out today! That's the most to date. The weather can't seem to make up its mind about what to do; there's a spattering of rain but the sun is peeking out from behind the clouds so it's shaping up for a good sailing day. The Gull Trophy continues on Sunday so if you couldn't make it down today, you still have a chance! A couple of our Ospreys are out on the water today. Did you know we have the largest Osprey fleet in North America? Pretty darn cool. Good luck to all the sailors today, and to all the ones that show up tomorrow.
